February Home Care Conference Round Up

The Tagtronics Care team enjoyed meeting hundreds of enthusiastic home care professionals at the two high profile conferences in the month of February. The first port of call was a local visit for the team at the prestigious City of Manchester Stadium for the Salford Technology Fair.

The event tackled some of the most important issues that home care providers may face as they move towards implementing technology in to their businesses. It also gave delegates the chance to view some of the money saving software solutions that could help them in the day to day running of their businesses.

Tagtronics were delighted to exhibit their time saving ‘home care software’ and ‘electronic monitoring’ solutions on the day as delegates looked to gain information and direction on the following topics:

  • Management/business systems for care services
  • Independent living/assistive technology
  • Procurement
  • Information and advice services
  • Learning and development
  • Online marketplaces for care and support
  • Information and Communication

Care software exhibit at the Ceretas Winter Conference

Next stop was a bit further afield as the team made their way down to the countries capital to exhibit at the Ceretas Winter Conference event on the 17th of the month at the Inmarsat Conference Centre

The event saw a large mixture of delegates attend the event from Ceretas officials to home care company directors. The event looked to tackle a number of different issues with the key focus being on the impact of the spending review and the issues that this presents for all providers and commissioners.

The Main areas that were addressed on the day were:

  • Integration/commissioning of Health and Social Care Future Funding of Social Care
  • A providers perspective to address the challenges of funding and commissioning
  • The Government vision for Adult social care and how to make this a reality
